Our group is currently recruiting for TWO highly impressive and suitably qualified individuals (who, in line with EU mobility rules, have not been based in the UK for more than 12 months) to become doctoral candidates within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctornal Network, INTRABRAIN. These would start in August 2026.

PDRA and staff roles:

Dr Carlos Garcia Núñez is currently looking to fill a 6-month PDRA position, starting 1st November 2026, working on BIO-MIRAR, an EPSRC Photonics & Quantum Accelerator Early Impact project developing manufacturable antireflection nanostructures inspired by the nanoscale texture of a moth eye.
